The Bremner

For my first ever blog post, I knew it was only appropriate to review my personal favorite chef Chuck Hughes's new restaurant. The Bremner is undeniably a seadfood type restaurant but with a fresh and modern twist to it.

Montreal's own Chuck Hughes opened up his newest success story in july with no press release. This is where the beauty of social networking comes in because shortly after posting the address on his official Facebook page, The Bremner was going strong.

Although the food is perfectly seasoned, the beachy feel of this restaurant can almost make you breathe salty. On the must-have list we have the Lobster parfait, the rapini with anchovies and chopped eggs and the raw tuna. The Peach Long Island Iced Tea is definately a picker-upper.

To make reservations:
Call (514) 544-0446

Address:
361 st. Paul East, Old Montreal, Quebec H2Y 1H2

Lastly, if you have yet to watch Chuck cooking up fabulous food for none other than Cypress Hill during the Osheaga Music Festival, heres a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0qir5cfM_4
